After reading Documentary, I was hooked. The emotion in that one book was jumping off the page at you. A.J. gave me one of the worst book hangovers I have ever experienced! I have read all her other books so far and I have loved every single one of them.
What can I say about this author, other than DO NOT under any circumstances start reading one of her books late at night, unless you do not wish to get any sleep! Honestly, I cannot put any of her books down once I start them. I have read all her books and each of them are seriously powerful and heart wrenching stories.

You'll have heard the saying 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'. Well I did just that with her first book, 'Lost In Distraction'. The cover of the book had me sold instantly, then I read the blurb, then it was on my tablet and I have to say I have never regretted making that snap decision. Her 'Lost' series is a Romantic Suspense and the 'Bliss' series is a funny, light read in comparison. I've loved both series.
This woman had me Ugly Crying with 'Shocking Heaven'! I'm not ashamed to say it, I was sobbing my heart out. For an author to be able to evoke such dramatic emotions in me, just blew me away. The storyline in this book, could not have been easy to write, because it is quite powerful. Sometimes reading a book will bring tears to your eyes because the story is sad. This wasn't like that for me. This book had me feeling the pain of the characters.
Pepper Winters is an excellent author, who took my breath away with her debut novel Tears for Tess. Her next novel Quintessentially Q gave me one almighty book hangover. Her writing is so powerful, I found it difficult to put the books down. I don't think I can express adequately how brilliant her books are, I recommend you check them out.
Another author who likes to inject pure laugh out loud humour into the storylines. The 'Neighbour From Hell' series had me laughing from beginning to end. These are the kind of books I would like to reread just for the fun factor alone. They are funny, light and a good 'book hangover' cure in my opinion.
I had read some good reviews regarding TouchStone for Play and checked it out and by god I'm glad I did. She did a brilliant job of being able to pull you in during certain parts of the story, feeling you were on the periphery of the dialogue. Other times it was like you were sitting on your own couch watching it unfold on TV. Amazing. I can't wait for the next part in the trilogy.
If you haven't read any of the 'Chocolate Lovers' series, why the hell not?? From page one in 'Seduction and Snacks' until the final page in 'Hearts and Llamas' these books had me doubled over with laughter, tears streaming down my face, cheeks sore from the laughter and drained emotionally from all the hilarity. Quite simply the most hilarious beginning to a book EVER! I had to stop reading them on my lunch as I was getting some funny looks from my colleagues any time I would suddenly erupt in laughter. There was no way I could stifle the laughter and they certainly weren't the type of one liners that I could giggle quietly too.
Thanks for reading (and writing!)....
