I give this book 4.5 Goddess smooches.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  After reading Her Dom, I was desperate to read this one.  I needed to know why things happened they way they did and also how they would develop and resolve.  I wasn't disappointed.  You have to read book one before reading this one as it picks up from where Her Dom left of.

Sophia is lost without her Dom.  Dominic is hurt by the events that took place, and questions his judgement.  Sophia needs to explain, but Dominic doesn't want to hear anything.  As things start to unfold, my opinion of Sophia changes.  I could relate to how Dominic was feeling, but the more that Sophia's side was put across, the more I could understand the events that lead to where they both were.

Unlike Her Dom, this book was written from both Dominic and Sophia's point of view.  Bringing Sophia's side into this one was crucial to explaining everything from Her Dom.  When I first read Her Dom, I couldn't understand why we didn't get Sophia's POV, but after reading Her Dom's Lesson, the reasons are clear.  

The hate, the hurt, the desperation, the desire and the love, it was all there.  Pouring from the pages. Teasing you, so you are left needing to turn the page to see what was going to happen next.  The story is fast paced with so many twists and turns that just when you think you have things all figured out, something else pops up to make you question it all over again.  The further into the story you get, the more the tension increases.  Building continuously, so by the time you reach the very end it is total edge of the seat, chin on the floor, cannot sleep until you have finished.  You have been warned!

Beth Ashworth was born in Manchester in 1990, but shortly moved to the modest city of Coventry where she was raised and still resides now.

As an avid reader from a very early age, Beth has always been keen to put her words onto paper. As a child she was always found with either a book in her hand, a pen and notepad or a computer games controller.

Starting off by initially writing alternate endings to her favourite Jacqueline Wilson books from around the age of ten, Beth has continued to grow and love her passion for books.
